Both Alerts send a loud audible alarm when a loved one begins to get up out of bed or out of a chair. This product protects the bed-bound or chair-bound patient who tries to get up without the assistance of a caregiver.

The Bed-Safe Alert and Chair-Safe Alert are battery operated and portable. Both come equipped with a small monitor with an "ON" button and a low battery indicator so you know when the unit is on and when to change the standard, 9-volt battery.

The Chair-Safe Alert can be used as a deterrent for unassisted chair or wheelchair exits. Just place the sensor cushion on the chair or between the chair's cushion. The Sensor cushion size is 11.5" x 13" x 1".

The Bed-Safe Alert is placed between the mattress and the box springs. Turn the Alert on when the patient goes to bed, and the alarm will sound if the patient tries to get up for an overnight walk.
